Welcome the Fourth Cohort of the Deeper Learning Leadership Forum!
We are delighted to announce the education leaders that have been selected to join the newest cohort of our Deeper Learning Leadership Forum. The Deeper Learning Leadership Forum (DLLF) is a cohort-based leadership experience that aims to develop, strengthen, and support a group of educational leaders to work at the intersection of equity and design thinking. As DLLF members cultivate relationships and learn across their diverse contexts, they will become more adept and strategic at leading reform efforts in their local systems, thus producing more equitable deeper learning outcomes across the country.

IL-EMPOWER
ELP has been selected as an approved learning partner by IL-EMPOWER for Illinois schools. IL-EMPOWER is the statewide system of support that empowers schools with greater choice in determining their path to improved student outcomes. Schools are informed through a continuous school improvement process which includes analysis of academic and school quality indicators, a system needs assessment, and selecting an approved learning partner like ELP.

How ELP Delivers Internal Professional Development!
ELP spends much of its time delivering PD to our partners from coast to coast. Many partners don’t realize that we also turn our PD chops inwards to refine our practices, learn from each other’s work in the field and have some fun along the way! At our last retreat, we focused our efforts on refining our definition of High Quality Performance Assessments. We believe a High Quality Performance Assessment…
elicits evidence of skills and knowledge that matter
is tight on quality criteria while open to different approaches
is authentic
is a learning experience in and of itself
We’ll expand on this suite of definitions in the coming weeks – stay tuned!

Happy Holidays from the ELP team!
